Evidenced based treatments are simply treatments that have been researched and put through rigorous studies and when implemented according to the protocol by the clinician, have proven effectiveness in treating a particular mental health or substance abuse concern. As a psychotherapist, we can then be trained in these methods and we, along with our clients, can have the security in knowing the treatment has proven success in alleviating symptoms associated with the particular mental health and/or substance abuse condition. Examples of EBT that I provide include DBT therapy(Dialectical Behavior Therapy,) Matrix, EFT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy), EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy), Seeking Safety and REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.)

requirements:
• Require providers and facilities to provide good faith estimates of charges for care to uninsured
(or self-pay) individuals upon scheduling care or on request, and for individuals with certain types
of coverage, to submit good faith estimates to the individual’s plan or issuer.
